Respected Sir,

        I am a practicing lawyer, primarily, in the Supreme Court & Punjab & Haryana High Court and the member of the SCBA (Registered with no. 1027 of 2009) and Punjab & Haryana HCBA (with enrolment no. 5612/2014-15) 

       I am the Advocate for Petitioners in CWP No. 6856 of 2016, pending before the High Court of Punjab & Haryana. The Petition seeks CBI/ED Investigation into the huge VAT Scam running into more than Ten Thousand Crores.

         Today( 25/08/2016), at 08:59 hrs. I received a telephonic call on my Mobile No. +919999212148, from mobile no. +919896800883. The caller introduced himself from Ambala (Haryana) and told me that he wanted to speak in connection with the Excise & Taxation Department matter pending in the High Court. As I could not clearly hear his voice, the caller called on my another mobile no. +919467556024 at 09:02 hrs. The caller told me that his son is being entangled in the case pending before the High Court and he wanted some documents from me. I requested the caller to come to High Court as I was not able to understand which documents he wanted and in what connection. But the caller insisted-upon meeting at my home, which I declined and told him that I dont like to meet anyone at my home. At this, the caller was annoyed and told me that he can documents from other sources but I will have to face serious consequences in the matter. I again requested him to come to High Court and discuss the matter, but the caller disconnected the phone with great fury by uttering "Sorry, sorry, sorry, I wont come to High Court"

       It may be important to mention here that the Petitioners have been granted police protection in the matter and Haryana Vigilance Bureau has already sealed the relevant record of the Excise & Taxation Department Haryana.

      Therefore, you are requested to look into the matter and get investigated the credentials and intentions of the caller. This is for your information and further necessary action.
