Respected
Sir,
This month, I am leaving Delhi for trying new
horizons of life. First of all, I express my deep gratitude towards
you; for providing me an opportunity to work in your chamber for a
considerable period, i.e., about 2 years, which has added great experience
in my professional career as well as personal life. Apart from professional
career, my attachment with your chamber has given me a deep insight into
the mind of an eminent personality like you, working for public and
social interest, by adopting socialism as a tool. Really, this experience
will help me in a long way in my life.
However, I will always love to find the
answers of few questions in mind, which always torment me. Firstly, I will
always try to find the answers for my frequent humiliations, for trivial
mistakes. Though, in the heart of my hearts I always considered your rebukes as
a chides of a GURU, but the other persons in your proximity told me that when
you start humiliating a person, it means that you don't want a person to
work in your chamber. The point view of other
persons was reinforced when the serious blunder mistakes committed by
other juniors were ignored by you, in comparison to which my mistakes were
nothing . Sir, I was born in an agricultural family with small
land holding and I even learned English language from 6th class. So, I may
not be as efficient and intelligent as your other juniors. But in my total
tenure of about 4 years in Central Information Commission and a considerable
attachment with National Investigation Agency, nobody could find the serious
faults in my working. Its also very relevant to remember that I was paid an
amount of only Rs. 6,000/-, which was much-much less than the other
juniors in chambers, who were much junior to me. Some juniors who were paid
equal to me, had not even got their licence. Still, I ignored
everything, because I had come to learn.
SECONDLY, I don't know why I
was not allocated any meaningful work. I can understand that I may not be good
in understanding the several branches of law, but I can't
accept that anybody can stand before me in the sphere of RTI Law. I
experience the RTI Law as an applicant, then as an indirect Information
Commissioner, by drafting the judgments of CIC, while my attachment with CIC as
its Legal Consultant and then while working with some public authority
I also experienced the role of PIO & FAA. Nobody in your chamber has such
an experience. It pained me lot when I heard these words from you that, "Pranav, RTI me jo cases important
nahi hain, wo Pardeep ko de do" And, the kind of opportunities
which you have been providing to Pranav, with such kind of opportunities even a layman, without
law degree can become a brilliant lawyer. Due to your patronage, Pranave considers everyone
his junior. He committed the mistake of considering me his junior and I gave
him befitting reply. He is not and can't be my senior.
FINALLY,
I was shocked when you refused to grant me an experience certificate, for the
work done by me in your chamber. And, by seeking experience certificate, I
had not sought any favour, because the certificate was only for the
true work which I had done in your chamber. Above all, you issue
certificates EVEN to the law students/Interns who work in your
chamber only for 10-15 days, but surprisingly you refused to provide a
certificate to me. To be honest with you, I had
sought experience certificate for my personal satisfaction, not for any
employment. If the experience certificates of important organisations
like C.I.C. & N.I.A. cant help me, then no experience certificate can
help me in my career.
Be that as it may, I still respect
you, for the good causes taken by you. I am not a flatterer, but still I
have had a deep respect for the people who has done something for society.
If the hard work pays & destiny supports the hard work, nobody can defeat
me. I always pray to God that the people adverse to me may not die before
seeing my success. I apologize in advance if I've hurt you in any manner. But
this mail is essential to relive me from the waves of mental storm.
Deep Regards!
(Pardeep Kumar)
