My Dear Sanjeev Verma
I am deeply perturbed at your unprovoked disgust and filth against the Jat
community, which clearly reflected during my personal discussion with you. I
was shocked when you proclaimed Jats as Goons, Intellectually
Corrupt, uneducated, uncivilized etc. and even raised question mark
over
their martyrdom, by discrediting their claim of serving nation. How many
persons from your family or even from distant relations have had; even;
joined
defence forces, leave aside sacrificing life for nation? Your family
derive
benefits by calling yourself from a BACKWARD CASTE, who since
generations
involved in the commercial venture of Gold. You father was in Govt. Job,
your brother
is in Govt. Job, you too are in Govt. Job and I find that the financial
and
social position of your family is much better than the 90% population of
my
entire village; who since generations are living on agriculture. I
myself is
having just about one acre land. My grandfather throughout his life
struggled
with 3(three) acre land; but could never reach to the level of your
family. And, having 2 degrees up to the level of Phd in your family, you
still claim be
from a socially and educationally backward caste!!! What a mockery???
Can I remind
you that National Sample Survey Office (NSSO), Ministry of Statistics
and Programme Implementation (MOSPI), Government of India, In its 70th round of survey,
conducted during the period 1st January, 2013 to 31st December,2013, NSSO
carried out a Situation Assessment Survey of Agricultural Households and during
survey found that at all-India level, average monthly income per agricultural household during
the
agricultural year July 2012- June 2013 was estimated as Rs.6426/-,
whereas During the same period, the average monthly consumption expenditure per agricultural household
was Rs.6223/-. But when sought your opinion about the
implementation of Swaminathan Commission Report for the welfare of farmers, you
preached that the report is impractical and advised me to concentrate on
constructive work. What a distorted biased and prejudiced personality you have.
You did put distorted and one-sided facts about Jat-agitation. You knew
it very well that there was a news of rape committed on women allegedly by
Jats, but you were unaware that the same news was found false and
unsubstantiated. You knew it very well that the tea-samosa stalls of Saini
community was set on fire, but you were completely unaware that the peaceful
mob was provoked by chopping the head of Ch. Chhotu-Ram statue. You told me
about the rioting by Jats but forgot to tell me that the riots were started
when so called 35 biradari raised anti-jat slogans and thrashed them. A
civilised and well mannered person must not and can not justify violence;
irrespective of any provocation, but all aspects has to be put-forth.
With such a distorted personality, do you really deserve to occupy the
chair of a judge? I seriously doubt your competency to occupy the pious chair
of delivering justice. And, I virtually shiver with pain to imagine how many
judges this system must be having??
When you and my known persons ask me, despite sound knowledge of law,
why I dont prepare for judiciary? I reply that I am not competent for
judiciary. Though, being a first generation lawyer coupled with lack of income
sources including land, I can’t devote requisite time for preparation of
judiciary. But another reason which I don’t share is that due to inherent
prejudices in character, ideal integrity, biasness, stubbornness in attitude
etc. as per my self-imposed parameters, I am unfit to occupy the chair of a
judge.
Despite the fact, you have had derived considerable benefits from your
close friends, and coincidentally, who all happened to be from the Jat community.
During graduation days they always stood by you in thick and thin. You cant
deny the fact that you got first career boost-up by getting a lucrative job abroad,
only because of a favour granted by a Jat friend and the marriage of your
sister was almost financed by the amount earned abroad; a favour granted by Jat
guy already working there. But still, ungratefully, you have so much poison
against the Jat community. Therefore, I am constrained to write this e-mail to
you, I wanted to reply on the same day, at your home, but due to time
constraint and while keeping in view our old relations I did not reply to you.
About reservations, first of all, let
me tell you that personally I am against any kind of reservation to any
community, as I consider it a tool to perpetuate handicap and also sow the
seeds of dissatisfaction and resentment. Be that as it may, I don’t want to
argue here about the merits or demerits of reservation. I am only concerned the
poison being injected in the veins of personal relations.
First of all let me tell you briefly
about my friend-circle. My friend circle, by and large, was restricted to
non-Jats, as my father did never teach me hatred towards any caste or
community. I exactly remember that my grandparents had virtually castigated my
father as he used to allow the SCs to sit and eat at our home in our utensils.
We, first time, met during the NCC Army Attachment Camp and if you
remember even after lapse of considerable period of almost one year I did not
even know your caste. I liked the quality of truthfulness, honesty, which
perhaps I lacked. Though, later on it was revealed to me that you had
soft-corner for the apparent corruption committed by your father in Govt. job.
In matriculations my two best friends were from Verma
and Kumhar community;
who too benefited from my notorious personality in school and I even risked my
career in the teenage for them. But, when I was caught in trouble all distanced
from me.
During graduation my and in Boxing Team my best friends were from a SC
community; who, in the absence of my parents, used to cook and eat in the kitchen
of my house. But later on they also distanced after getting Govt. Job and
talked about caste differences and even today I get emotional fits for those
friends.
During law course too, you are fully aware that apart from you, my close
friend was from Gurjar
community, but he too ditched me and I could come out of psychological
emotional trauma only after wasting study of 3-4 months
Though, there are thousands corrupt judges in the system; but I can’t
comment upon them as I am have no personal acquaintances with them, but as you
were an ideal person in my estimation, I wonder, whether you deserve to occupy
the pious chair of a Judge? In fact, your disgusting views expose the biased poisonous
mind of pseudo-educated and intellectually-corrupt class of citizens.
I cant forget to share with you my personal interaction with an IPS
Officer of the rank of DGP, during lunch, with whom I had privilege to work for
a considerable period, who bluntly said that ‘JAAT TO DONO HAATHON ME LADDU RAKHNA CHAHATE
HAIN, INKO JAMIN BHI CHAHIYE OR RESERVATION BHI’ And, this officer is the international famed
investigator of heinous crimes. If such a senior officer can make such a
jealous and baseless comment, what can I expect from you and others?
I never believed in any cast or
religion. But first time the series of conduct of my best friends like you have
changed my view and dragged and forced me to mould into believer in caste. I
feel caught into the web of caste. But, still, my changed view is that all
castes/communities have merits and demerits in their DNA. I am proud of my
caste; but unlike you, for me, it does not mean that I hate other castes. I can
see merits in all castes/communities. Above all me, all farmers belong to a
same caste, as all have inherent common interest and inheritance. But it pains
me to see the poison being spread by persons like you. God may save my country;
especially judiciary, from the persons like you."
LOVE!
